For warehouse owners

Fill your empty warehouse space with storage and cross-dock requests from our clients

We connect you with clients who need storage or cross-dock near you, and coordinate the trucks in and out of your dock. You keep your operation and your insurance.

No volume commitment

Online registration on our partner portal: 4 short steps. A PDF or a photo of each document is fine, and you can save and finish later.

Why join a broker network

Our clients come to us for transportation and storage together: freight waiting for a delivery appointment, a store reset to stage, pallets that need to change trucks. When that freight needs a place near your dock, we can send the request to you.

Each request arrives as a written storage order that fits your space and your dock hours, with the client, the pallets, the dates and your rate. You review it before you accept it.

You keep your operation, your own receipts and your insurance, and there is no exclusivity: keep serving your own customers. Bear Shift coordinates the service and never holds goods in its own name.

What you get

  • Storage and cross-dock requests from clients near you, when they fit your space
  • We coordinate the trucks in and out of your dock and keep everyone updated
  • Your rate is written on each storage order we send you
  • Before your first order, we tell you in writing when and how you get paid
  • Digital paperwork: partner agreement and documents online

What we ask

  • A commercial facility with business licenses
  • General liability (CGL) and warehouse legal liability (WLL) insurance: $1,000,000 each
  • Your services and available space, and the partner agreement signed online — we send it to you to read in full before you sign

How it works for warehouses

  1. Register your warehouse online. We review your facility, licenses and insurance.
  2. We send you the partner agreement to read and sign online.
  3. Each job arrives as a written storage order — client, pallets, dates and rate — for you to review.
  4. The goods belong to the client: your receipts and inventory go in the client's name, and we coordinate the trucks in and out.

Questions from warehouse owners

How does my warehouse join?

Use the “Register your warehouse” button in this section. Full answer

Who is responsible for the goods in my care?

Your warehouse, while the goods are in your care — that's why we ask for warehouse legal liability insurance. Bear Shift coordinates and never holds goods in its own name. Full answer

How and when does my warehouse get paid?

Before your first order, we tell you in writing when and how you get paid; it's set in the partner agreement and on each storage order.

Is there a minimum or a commitment?

No. You don't commit to a minimum volume, and we don't guarantee one either: each job arrives as a storage order for you to review. Full answer
